You don’t have to be a learner to benefit from lessons. Consider just a few examples below:
Passed your test years ago and never driven since? Then refresher lessons would be an answer to rebuild your car control and confidence.
Unsure about motorways? A few lessons on faster roads will help.
Perhaps you have been involved in an accident – even as a passenger? I can offer accident avoidance lessons.
Unsure how to travel to a destination? I can teach you route planning.
Concerned about high fuel costs and want to do your bit to combat climate change? Then think about a course on eco driving and saving up to 25% on fuel costs.
Starting a new job which requires driving? Let me assess your driving and offer some remedial action.
Bite Size Bits
Learning in small chunks makes the experience fun and makes goals easily achievable. Lessons can be l hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours.
“Nothing is particularly hard if we divide it into small jobs” – Founder of Ford Motor Company Henry Ford.
Progress reports
These will help to relieve the boredom of learning. If you have had previous lessons and felt you were just driving around then by using my unique written reports you will be aware of your strengths, weaknesses and be in control of your own learning. You will always see light at the end of the tunnel.
Flexible times
Day, evening, Saturday to give you the freedom to plan your day around lessons.
Pick up from work, school, and college. If you have free periods from school or college then your lessons can be fitted in and you can be returned back to your place of learning. The same applies to work, if you have lunch time off or half days then the above will help you.
Mock tests
When your driving has reached a safe and confident level and you have been taught to deal with all possible road layouts etc. then by taking on the roll of your driving examiner I will conduct a mock test. This is done by creating an atmosphere that will be similar to your real test and at the end of this we will both know which areas, if any, still require remedial action.
How to pay
Payment can be made by cheque made payable to “GRANT FERGUSON”, cash or online through Paypal.
Paypal accepts most credit/debit cards online. It is a very secure means of payment using data encryption, fraud detection and many other types of advanced techniques to protect your payment data. Receipts will be given by Paypal to confirm your payments.
Gift vouchers
These are great for birthdays, Christmas or any time. Payment can be made securely online. Pay for what you want either 10 lessons or a sum of your choice towards lesson costs
“SIT IN” during tests
The driving test can be a daunting unknown experience to some people, however, when you have had mock tests, you know what will happen. If you wish, I can accompany you during your test. This not only gives you reassurance and a friendly face with you, we will both benefit from the feedback given by your examiner at the end of the test.
This will help us plan towards either remedial lessons or taking you onto “Pass Plus”.
Pass Plus Registered
This scheme has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency with help from the Motor Insurance and Driving Instruction industries to develop your skills and knowledge in areas where you may have limited experience.
Pass Plus consists of six lessons, no test and ranges from motorways, town, night and all weather driving. As a result of taking the course you will reduce the risk of being involved in a road crash, and will make a saving on your car insurance premiums.
As an indicator of its effectiveness a recent survey showed 93% felt more confident on the road. 89% considered that their driving skills had improved.
